Christianson Home Dedication

Please join us Saturday, January 26, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. for the dedication of the Christianson Home, 2122 Ogden Avenue Superior, WI.

We've got ourselves a family!

The Christianson's of Superior have faced a number of challenges this year and are ready to build a new life by helping build a Habitat home! They will begin logging their sweat equity hours at the remodeling site in Superior week, check out the story from Fox21.

Habitat for Humanity teams up with UMD Market Place

UMD Market Place is teaming up with Western Lake Superior Habitat for Humanity by  hosting the launch of the Habitat 500.  Once again, our dedicated cyclists are gearing up to ride 500 miles in support of Habitat for Humanity.

Another ABWK Project Finished!

After much hard work, ABWK partner Darlene now has a sturdy and safe upgrade from the original deck that will keep her home accessible for years to come.

The house is blue! Volunteers from the Newman Center helped us to install foam board on the Christianson's home. 

Hermantown Walmart Day of Service

Employees from Walmart in Hermantown spent a day giving back to their community and working to finish up "A Brush With Kindness" partner Darlene's access ramp.  Want to see more pictures?

UMD Men's Lacrosse Day of Service

Thank you UMD Men's Lacrosse Team! The guys spent the day rebuilding a deck and railing system, building an access ramp and landscaping for "A Brush With Kindness" partner Darlene.

CSS Community Day 2012

Students from St. Scholastica gathered on Wednesday at our new headquarters. Half the group helped clean up and organize all the donated building materials that have been coming in each Wednesday and the other half helped out on the home we are remodeling in Superior. More news to come on that front...

United Health Care Lends a Hand

Check out our Facebook page to see United Health Care toughing it out in the rain last Saturday!  Pizza's from Grandma's Sports Garden helped fuel a gaint work group that spread soil and planted what will become the lawn for a safe decent affordable home.

United Health Care Spends a Day with HFH

This is the third year United Health Care has taken a Saturday to make a huge difference in someone's life. The group collected $1,000 and spent the day replacing a roof and fixing a deck damaged by fire. The homeowner, Patricia, was so grateful she was a loss for words. Thanks UHC for helping Patrica to stay in her home for many years to come!
